This is an optional Exotek B5/B5M "Flite" Aluminum Vented Motor Plate. In the competitive world of indoor off-road racing the secret to finishing strong is keeping your motor temperatures in check. This plate features aggressive cut outs to allow the heat that builds up inside the gear cover to vent out, dramatically lowering overall motor temps. This allows you to run your motor harder, and keep it running cooler for longer, giving you an edge on your competition.

Plus, the extra machining reduces the weight to 13 grams, making it 6.5 grams lighter than the stock part! Material has been left in the critical motor mounting areas to maintain solid motor mounting and gear mesh. Choose from a blue or black anodized finish.

NOTE: This motor plate is designed for use on indoor clay or carpet track environments.
